ORC Speaker

ORC is bringing in a good friend of Dan Miles who has been a professional
river guide in the Grand Canyon, and has been on almost every other
river worth running in the western US. He currently guides scientists
down there so they can do research.

He also helped PBS make a documentary about John W. Powell, the first
person to explore that part of the country.

He'll be on campus to talk on Monday Feb 22nd at 8pm in the Hurvis
Room, 2nd floor, of the WCC. Please stop in and listen to some great
stories and what it's like working as a guide.
