Andrew Knudsen, co-chair of the Green Roots committee, signed us up for RPN (responsible purchasing network). Anyone at LU can access their resources through our membership, which runs until 2/1/2011. Follow the link above to access their sight and set up your individual account.

This website provides a lot of good information about any sort of 'green' purchasing policies, and even have pre-made purchasing policies for universities.

Any one interested in trying to pass more legislation with LUCC should sign up.

- Surveys before Cinema Movies -
Subcommittee Needed!! Please come to the meetings if you would liek to get involved with collecting data about student usage of the environment and getting more students concerned and involved about Green Society!

Subcommittee Tasks;
-rent clickers for cinema questions
-collaborate and create quick questionnaires for students to answer while waiting for their movie to start
-**compile gathered data into a format to be presented in previews before showings, and perhaps elsewhere on campus

Brit Oleson - planning to do showing of Green Movie. (update later)

-Hall Lorax Update-
Lorax has no responsibilities with the compost as of yet, however Laura plans to get the duty binder to him by Spring so he may initiate his tasks in Plantz Hall.
