What went on this week with the ERC?

1. Big Topics;
Vince Dyer (co-chair)has put together a Student Project List of all projects that are done, currently in progress, or potentially will be on campus.

Also, Vince is looking at the small triangular shaped roof on 4th floor Briggs to do a potential greenroof, however, plans have been put aside due to prior claim of that roof for a Japanese Zen Garden.

2. Plantz Pilot Program-
Hall Lorax
Plantz - Barry Tikalsky
-a hall lorax is an RLA who has taken on additional responsibilities.
Tasks of the Hall Lorax;
- maintain compost bucket on their floor
-take compost out weekly
-monitor HVAC Resolution
-maintain recycling bins

Composting
- a pilot program in Plantz
-headed by Stacy Day need volunteers to apply for $ for screen, and/or provide screens for the composting buckets
-buckets with Greg Griffin currently

3. LUCC-
- HVAC resolution --> Legislation (in Progress)
- Bottled Water and Styrofoam Buying Resolution --> Legislation (In Progress)
- looking for support for the Green Roof on Briggs

4. Environmental Survey - Natasha Pugh
- total of 10 questions
- Distribute at Resident Halls at Info Desks
- in order to get more people to take it;
apply for $ for incentives to do the survey
make it easy, ready, and available

5. Environmental Grant! - Hava Blair
