Summer Fun!

Greenpeace is searching for the next group of environmental leaders. Do you know a student who is passionate about tackling global warming, stopping deforestation, and saving the whales with Greenpeace? Perhaps you've worked with a student on an Activist Network project who fits the bill? Maybe it's you!We are accepting applications for the Summer and Fall 2010 semesters of the Greenpeace Organizing Term

The Greenpeace Organizing Term is an action-packed semester and the best hands-on training available to give students the skills to build the environmental movement. While in the program, students learn grassroots organizing, media, direct action, and campaign strategy so they can run successful campaigns back on campus. Best of all, students will put those new skills into practice by working on actual Greenpeace campaigns in the field!Candidates must be 18-24 years of age and either a high school senior or an undergraduate at a college or university to apply. The program is based in either Washington, D.C. or San Francisco, CA.- If you’re eligible and interested, please applyhttp://members.greenpeace.org/go/redirect/933?c=977&p=e077b6e73e21279d36c5ed2750e61de9 !-

Student Project List

Here is a link to the Student Project List ERC has compiled of all the environmental projects going on on campus. So if you want to participate in a project contact the person in charge of that project. This prevents similar projects from going on at the same time and encourages collaboration between student organizations.

Thank you.
